Understanding Yourself, Living Your Faith

An 8-week therapy group for Christian women who want to feel more steady, less reactive, and more at ease within themselves and their relationship with God.

Christian therapy group for women exploring emotional healing and faith

When everything looks fine, but doesn’t feel settled inside.

You may be someone who keeps going, shows up for others, and tries to live your faith well. But inside, you might notice:

  • your mind rarely switches off
  • you replay conversations afterwards
  • you feel responsible for everyone else
  • you react in ways you later regret
  • you struggle to relax, even when things are “fine”
  • you know what’s true, but still feel stuck in the same patterns

You may have tried praying more, thinking it through, pushing past it, or telling yourself you should be better by now.

But something still doesn’t shift.

Rooted is for that space.

What is Rooted?

Rooted is an 8-week therapy group for Christian women.
It is not a Bible study, a topical workshop, or a space where you simply talk about feelings. Rooted is a guided process that helps you learn how to understand what’s happening inside you, respond to yourself differently, and stop feeling so driven by every emotion, reaction, or internal pressure.

Rather than focusing on one specific issue, Rooted teaches a process you can apply to many areas of life, including anxiety, people-pleasing, relationship difficulties, emotional reactions, stress, self-criticism, feeling distant from God, and repeated patterns you can’t seem to shift.

The goal isn’t simply coping better. It’s learning a different way to relate to yourself and your inner world, so you feel less controlled by reactions and more able to respond with steadiness, clarity, and connection.

Why “Rooted”?

Christian therapy group for women exploring emotional healing and faith

There are seasons where growth isn’t visible. In nature, winter is when roots grow deeper. Strength is formed beneath the surface, so that when growth comes, it can actually be sustained.

Rooted is about that kind of work. Not forcing change on the surface, but developing the depth and steadiness that allows real, lasting growth.

This process is inspired by Ephesians 3:16–19: being strengthened in your inner being, rooted and established in love, and becoming more able to perceive and experience the depth of God’s love.

What’s included?

8 weekly online group sessions

2 individual sessions with Kadri

Guided exercises and reflection tools

Optional worksheets and journaling prompts

Access to private online community for accountability and support between sessions

What participants begin to notice

Over time, many participants begin to feel calmer, more emotionally steady, and less driven by internal pressure or self-criticism.

They often notice more pause before reacting, clearer boundaries with less guilt, greater self-understanding, and a deeper sense of presence with others and God.

Who Rooted is for?

Rooted may be a good fit if you are a Christian woman who:

  • feels internally unsettled even when life looks fine
  • is tired of repeating the same patterns
  • often feels responsible for others’ emotions
  • struggles with overthinking, people-pleasing, or self-criticism
  • wants emotional healing that honours your faith
  • wants support that is structured, gentle, and grounded

Who Rooted may not be for?

Rooted may not be the right fit if you are looking for:

  • a Bible study only
  • quick fixes or advice
  • a space where you are told what to do
  • crisis support or intensive trauma processing
  • If you are currently in acute crisis, individual therapy or specialist support may be more appropriate.

The first round of Rooted will run as a founding cohort. This means the programme will be fully guided, but I will also be gathering feedback to refine future versions. Because of this, the founding cohort will be offered at a reduced rate.

Frequently Asked Questions

It sits somewhere between the two. Rooted includes structured teaching, therapeutic reflection, guided exercises, group discussion, and individual support.
No, while there will always be opportunities to share, you don’t have to share anything you don’t feel comfortable with sharing.
That’s more than fine. Rooted is great for those that might be curious about therapy, but may have found it inaccessible. The process is guided clearly and gently, so you do not need any prior therapy experience.
Some participants may choose to have their individual sessions at the end or after the 9 week programme, others may choose to continue to engage in individual therapy, others might continue to subscribe to the Arise Collective for on-going support and resources.
No. Rooted is for women at different points in their faith journey, including those who feel distant, unsure, or tired.
Pastoral counselling can offer spiritual support, prayer, and guidance. Rooted offers a therapeutic process that helps you work with emotional patterns, internal reactions, and relational difficulties while integrating your faith.
Creating a safe, respectful group environment is something I take seriously. Rooted is intentionally kept small, and participants are carefully selected to help ensure the group feels grounded, supportive, and appropriate for everyone involved.
At the beginning of the programme, we will create a shared group agreement together around things like confidentiality, respect, listening, and allowing space for different experiences and perspectives. Everyone will be asked to agree to this as part of joining the group.
The aim is not to create a perfect environment, but one where people feel able to show up honestly without fear of judgement, pressure, or being overwhelmed. If group boundaries are not being respected, this will be addressed directly and gently to help maintain the safety and integrity of the space.

If you have any remaining questions or concerns, you’re very welcome to book a free 15-minute discovery call and we can discuss if Rooted is the right fit for you.
